KWEST (the “Platform”), is an online platform operated by Settlement Music School of Philadelphia globally (collectively such entities will be referred to as “KWEST”, “we” or “us”).
All KWEST content is intended for classroom teaching purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or share any KWEST materials outside of the built-in Print and Download functions provided within the platform.

KWEST is committed to providing high-quality, research-backed educational content for early childhood educators. This Copyright Policy outlines the permitted and prohibited uses of all content available on the KWEST platform. By accessing or using KWEST, you agree to abide by the terms of this policy.
1. Ownership of Content
All content available on the platform, including but not limited to lesson plans, activity guides, images, illustrations, videos, audio recordings, Treasure Cards, and any other educational materials (collectively, "KWEST Content"), is the exclusive property of Settlement Music School of Philadelphia and its licensors. KWEST Content is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
2. Permitted Use
KWEST Content is licensed solely for use by authorized educators and staff within their classroom or educational setting. You may:
- View and Access: Access KWEST Content through your authorized account for the purpose of planning and delivering lessons to your students.
- Print: Use the built-in Print function within the KWEST platform to print materials for direct use in your classroom.
- Download: Use the built-in Download function within the KWEST platform to save materials for direct use in your classroom.
3. Prohibited Use
You may not, under any circumstances, engage in any of the following activities with KWEST Content:
- Reproduce or Duplicate: Copy, reproduce, or duplicate KWEST Content by any means other than the built-in Print and Download functions, including but not limited to screenshots, screen recordings, photocopying printed materials for redistribution, or any other method of reproduction.
- Distribute or Share: Share, distribute, transmit, or make available KWEST Content to any individual or entity that is not an authorized user under your organization's subscription, including sharing via email, file-sharing services, social media, or any other channel.
- Modify or Create Derivative Works: Alter, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on KWEST Content without prior written consent from KWEST.
- Commercial Use: Sell, license, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize any KWEST Content, or use KWEST Content to create competing products or services.
- Remove Proprietary Notices: Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices contained in or on KWEST Content.
4. Built-in Print and Download Functions
The KWEST platform provides built-in Print and Download functions specifically designed to allow educators to prepare materials for classroom use. These functions are the only authorized methods for reproducing KWEST Content outside of the digital platform. Materials obtained through these functions are intended for single-classroom use and may not be further reproduced or distributed beyond their intended purpose.
5. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for ensuring that all individuals who access KWEST Content through your account comply with this Copyright Policy. Sharing of account credentials with unauthorized individuals is strictly prohibited.
6. Enforcement
KWEST reserves the right to take appropriate action against any user who violates this Copyright Policy, including but not limited to:
- Suspension or termination of your KWEST account and access to the platform.
- Pursuit of legal remedies, including injunctive relief and monetary damages, as permitted by applicable law.
